An AT train on the Southern line.
An AT train stopped today on the Southern line at Otahuhu Station after passengers screamed out that there was a bomb on board. Passengers were cleared from the train. Apparently an improvised device was found wedged between two seats. The passengers reembarked and the journey continued. AT and NZ Police have no information, although trains were stopped on both the Southern and Eastern lines for a period.
Two photos allegedly taken by a passenger appear to show some damage to one of the seats caused by placing the device.
So why aren’t the police searching for anyone in connection with this?
Is this just everyday Auckland multiculturalism?
