The University of Auckland continue to push the global agenda, despite their Islam classes openly supporting Hamas tactics against Israel. Each year the university send out The New Zealand Attitudes and Values Study to gauge public opinion on various social and political issues. This year it included several questions on terrorism and Islam. The chair in Islamic Studies, along with classes introducing Islam as peaceful, was established at UoA after the Saudi government gave the NZ government a grant of $50M to study earthquakes. Each university now has similar classes and dedicated prayer rooms for male and females.
