Byron Clark’s publisher apologises for statements made in his book FEAR about the “far-right” here in New Zealand. “Far right” appears to be defined as anyone his communist/Jewish ideologies disagree with, considering his book outted his support for the Arab Spring uprising. The leader of Islamic State, which was financed by the US govt CIA, is currently the president of Syria, with the blessings of Netanyahu himself. Decades ago Byron Clark campaigned for the end of the Terrorism Suppression Act here in New Zealand.
You can maybe still find his book in the bargain bins at The Warehouse and if you can find your name in there you would be in for some money from a court case. Here in New Zealand several alleged “far-right” individuals have successfully sued the publishing companies for considerable sums of money in some cases.
Clark currently writes for Newsroom, The Spinoff, Overland and Fightback, and runs courses for the NZ government sponsored NGO’s in the Pacific Islands. He’s also worked for various government sponsored “education” venues here in NZ.
Byron himself loves lawsuits against those he targets in this book, even though his request for a restraining order against a white supremacist was dismissed on a “technicality”.

In February 2023 HarperCollins Publishers (New Zealand) Limited published a book written by Byron Clark entitled Fear: New Zealand’s hostile underworld of extremists.
The book is a wide-ranging work of social and political commentary and contains analysis of various political parties, including the Conservative Party of New Zealand (then known as the New Conservative Party) and its representatives and members.
Ms Houghton is a champion of free speech, strong proponent of Christian and conservative values, recently qualified lawyer, and leader of the Conservative Party of New Zealand. Ms Houghton has objected to the book on the basis that inclusion of her name in the book, and in a chapter entitled “Women and the Alt Right” (which chapter was also published online as an edited extract by The Spinoff in February 2023) implies that she associates with, and holds the views of, far right extremists.
HarperCollins and Byron Clark never intended to defame Ms Houghton and apologise to her for hurt and distress caused.
