Sonny Bill Williams has told the Australian government it needs to finally accept New Zealand’s offer to resettle refugees.

The Sydney Roosters superstar joined former Australian representative footballer Craig Foster in Canberra on Wednesday as more than 65,000 signatures from the #GameOver campaign were given to members of the Australian parliament.

“We’ve come to Canberra to call on the Australian Government to finally accept the New Zealand offer to resettle 150 refugees a year,” Foster said.
