Al Fawzam calls for critics of Islam to be killed

In his video Al Fawzam calls for critics of Islam to be killed. He is considered by some the most senior scholar in Saudi Arabia. His surname is also transliterated Al-Fozan or Al-Fawzaan. He is also known as Saleh Ibn Fawzan Ibn Abdullah, Saleh Ibn Fawzan al-Fawzan, Saalih Ibn Fowzaan Ibn ‘Abdullaah Ibn Fowzaan.  Al Fawzam is held in high regard by NZ Salafi dawahganderists such as youtuber Salafi Dawah NZ, who also goes by the name of Abu Sumayah from Christchurch. Sumayah says there are about 10 in New Zealand who would follow his style of Salafi preaching. It’s ironic Salafi think Islamic State are “not real muslims”, in Sumayahs words.

Al Fawzam calls for critics of Islam to be killed

A member of the Council of Senior Scholars and a member of the Standing Committee for Issuing Fatwas, Dr. Salih bin Fawzan Al-Fawzan, stressed that revolting against the ruler is considered a major sin that deserves to be killed even if its owner is Muslim.

Punishment, reprimand and deterrence. Al-Fawzan said: This is in order to repel the greater evil that occurs against Muslims with the lesser evil, which is the killing of this person; Because of that to eliminate the strife.

He added: If he is a Muslim, he will be killed, even if he is a Muslim. Because he wants to split the stick of obedience, break up the group, and disturb security, and that results in many evils. And he warned against the intruders, the agitators, and the owners of seditions who incite against the rulers through satellite channels and the media.

He called for their advice and reporting; to be taken into their hands; Referring to the saying of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: (Whoever comes to you and commands you all on one man, and wants to split your stick, or disperse your group, then kill him.”

And Al-Fawzan added: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not say, “Be silent about him.” Rather, he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: (Kill him). Al-Fawzan renewed the warning against the advocates of misguidance who agitate against those in authority, trawl for them to stumble, and forget their good deeds. He said:

The state is the state of all, and the interest is for all. It is not in the interest of the guardian to become a sultan or emir; But our interest is more than the guardian. He added: The rulers are human beings, and they fall into mistakes, irregularities and shortcomings; But as long as they adhere to Islam, they did not declare themselves to be infidels and did not depart from Islam, so it is obligatory to obey them and support them.

He cited the positions of Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, standing with the rulers, obeying them, and praying for them; where they did not incite against them, nor did they deviate from their obedience; Despite the trials, tribulations, misfortunes, trials and prisons they were subjected to.
